Surveys are conducted to identify issues that influence a voter to elect a particular candidate and analyse the voters’ perception of the performance of their elected representatives.
The purpose of the surveys is to shift the focus from personalities to issues.
About 2017 Survey
The Karnataka Voter Survey 2017 was conducted by ADR and DAKSH in order to understand the factors that influence a person’s vote, the issues that are important to people from each of the 224 MLA constituencies in Karnataka, and to understand the voters’ perception regarding how the last MLA had performed on each of these issues.

PERCEPTIONS ABOUT KARNATAKA MLAs
During our survey of 214 Karnataka Assembly constituencies, conducted in October and November 2009, we talked to 8,192 respondents of various demographics. Our report includes a qualitative review and administrative detail of governance in Karnataka.
