While the average pendency of a case before a High Court in the country is 1,098 days — three years — it is marginally lower in the Karnataka High Court with an average pendency of 1,039 days.
16 Lakh Cases Pending in 18 High Courts
BENGALURU: There were 16,01,760 cases pending before 18 ofthe 24 high courts in the country, according to data portal (www.dakshlegal.in), established by DAKSH, a civil society .
