Building Bridges: The Journey Towards Equality and Fraternity

Seventy-five years ago, on 26 January 1950, the Constitution of India came into force. To mark this historic milestone and celebrate our Republic Day under our We The People campaign we will be hosting a panel discussion titled “Building Bridges: The Journey Towards Equality and Fraternity.” The panel will feature Mary E. John, Rahamath Tarikere, and Justice (Retd.) Gautam Patel of the Bombay High Court – and will be moderated by Harish Narasappa.

Constitution Day Lecture

DAKSH presents its 11th Annual Constitution Day Lecture on November 25, 2022. The lecture will be delivered by Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and the Guest of Honour for the event will be Hon'ble Mr Justice Gautam S. Patel of the Bombay High Court.

Join us for the launch of DAKSH's book, 'Constitutional Ideals: Development and Realisation Through Court-led Justice' on May 29, 2023, at the Bangalore International Centre (BIC).

Technological interventions have the ability to enhance access and improve the efficiency of the various processes in the justice system.

News on tribunals, be it about vacancies, pendency of cases, poor infrastructure, oversight body, etc. have dominated headlines over the past year. It is undeniable that our tribunal system needs urgent reforms.
